Easter Holidays in Walsall — Why Chaii Dosa Café Should Be on Your List

The Easter school holidays run from 4 to 22 April — and if you’re planning things to do with the family in Walsall, you’ll want a meal destination that genuinely works for everyone. Not just the adults. Not just the fussy eaters. Everyone.

Chaii Dosa Café on Ablewell Street is 100% vegetarian, which means it’s genuinely inclusive in a way that most restaurants simply aren’t. Whether you’ve got vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free eaters, or just people who’ve never tried South Indian food before, there’s something on our menu for everyone — all made fresh daily.

Something Different for the Easter Holidays

Easter is a good time to be adventurous. The kids are off school, there’s no rush, and trying something new becomes part of the fun. If your family has never had a proper dosa before, Easter is the perfect time to change that.

Our Masala Dosa — a golden crispy rice crêpe filled with spiced potato masala, served with sambar and chutneys — is one of those dishes that genuinely surprises people the first time they try it. Light, crispy, packed with flavour, and completely plant-based.

Our Butter Cream Momos are a favourite with younger diners — six soft steamed dumplings in a rich butter cream sauce that disappears from the table before anyone’s had a chance to look at the menu properly. And our sharing platters are built for Easter gatherings where everyone wants to try a bit of everything.

Dine In, Takeaway or Delivery

We’re open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 9pm, throughout the Easter holidays. Whether you want to sit in and make an occasion of it, grab takeaway on a busy day out, or have it delivered to the door — we’ve got you covered.
